School was terrible today...
The reading period in the morning was not very interesting and moreover, I haven't had a good sleep the night before....So the day was tiring and BORING....I slept during most of the lessons due to lack of sleep..I don't know if I will be able to keep on staying up late the at night before school...hMm, Anyway.. We went to St. Andrew's today for an exhibition of D&T Works...The displays were very interesting and nice...but too bad...We only had 20 min to explore around, as we're driven out of the area by the students there...I think it's because they were expecting a VIP soon....Well, We're not the VIPs...so, Damn!... Making us wait for the bus for 1 HOUR and visiting only for 20 min...!!!the total travel time is also quite long...so...I say...This TriP is Not WortHwhilE....!!!!Terrible...
Well, I went back home after school only to await The Call of Doom and Apocalypse from my father....Ugh...The thought about it makes me wanna Burn The House....hmmm...anyway, although I'm partly to be blamed, i think he was being unreasonable,...he toO 40 solid minutes just talking about Me sleEpinG lAte At nighT...yea I slept late at night most of the time. but all those time spent is for self studying and homework....!not just merely playing games and having fun on the net...apparently, he threatened to confiscate my laptop so that I will sleep early everyday if i do not change my habits...hmm...Well feel free to comment on this one...^^
To conclude......Life's like that....Parent's are like that.....But all we can do is listen....and time goes on just like that...!

Hmm...The way I see it,your dad cares a heck lot about you.
It costs a bomb to come to Singapore to study and many see it as a priviledge.Therefore,it's very likely that they're concerned whether you're actually making good use of this money that they put into your studies.
Of course,your dad is also concerned about your health.It's not good for a growing person like yourself to have irregular hours of sleep.It affects your daily activites,especially your studies.You may have stayed up late to revise your work,do research etc,but you see?You can't concentrate as well during lessons.And that's a big disadvantage for you.You should try to manage your time in such a way that you not only surf the net for resources BUT ALSO turn in early so that it won't affect your daily activities.
As for the confiscation of the laptop,well,I don't know whose the one who paid for it,you or your parents.But still,your dad is just threatening you so that you can change your habits.He's just plain worried about you,like all parents.They love you and one day,when they're not here to take care of you anymore,you're miss them dearly and you're gonna realise that everything that they've done for you is out of LOVE.But by then,it would be too late.So why not treasure them instead of complain about them?
Of course,there are times when they may be too harsh on you...but think about it.They're humans too,just like you and me.We all lose our temper,don't we?They can't always talk to you nicely,especially when you get out of hand.And technically speaking,it's natural to get mad at someone when he/she scolds you,regardless of whose fault is it.So just let it be.But if you're really mad at them or think they're being unreasonable,then I suggest you have a chat with them,explaining your situation.
Remember,your parents just want you to live a good life,that's why they're pushing you so hard now.The last thing that any parent want is to see their child suffer in life.I know,I've seen such cases and you can't believe how much it breaks my heart to see it.You're their son,they're your parents.The love between you and them is something no one else will ever have.For now,the least you can do is study hard,do your best and most importantly,take good care of yourself.So please,treasure them,before it's too late.
